BERLIN – Dr. Umaiyal Munusamy postdoctoral from Institute of Plantation Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia was selected as one of the 100 Young Global Changers to the Think 20 Summit GLOBAL SOLUTIONS in Berlin from 28- 31 May 2017. She was selected to represent Malaysia over from 1300 candidates from 140 different countries by the G20 German Presidency.

The Think 20 are mandated by the 2017 German Presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20). The G20 think tank network (T20) is called upon to identify and collect the most relevant insights from the world`s leading think tanks to provide research based solution proposal. The summit addresses key global issues such as financial resilience, sustainable development, migration, climate change and digitalisation.

Dr. Umaiyal Munusamy presented her work on Food Security at the Think 20 Summit. She will be the ambassadors for the Young Global Changers in our country to carry out what she has taken from the summit.
