24 September 2020 - Prof. Dr. Robiah Yunus, the director of Institute of Plantation studies (IKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia, accompanied by the top management members of the institute visited the Research Centre of Sime Darby Plantation Berhad (SDPB) in Carey Island, Klang. The visit was welcomed by the director of SDPB, Dr. Harikrishna Kulaveerasingam and the senior researchers of the centre. The visit was initiated to strengthen the existing research collaborations between IPS and SDPB. From the visit, both parties agreed to explore more research opportunities and work together in the future for the betterment of the oil palm industry in Malaysia.
