  2. Compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, UPM Disaster Management Plan 2011, and the Public Sector OSHA Compliance Guidelines 2019

According to Ms. Nor Afida Miskam, overall occupational safety and health management at IKP is at a good level. Nevertheless, she highlighted the need for improvements in chemical management, particularly regarding chemicals brought in by researchers from external sources and not procured through IKP.

IKP successfully maintained its EXCELLENT status with a score of 95.80. This achievement further reinforces the strong commitment of IKP management and staff in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Highest appreciation is extended to all IKP staff for their dedication and commitment throughout the inspection process, in continuously ensuring that IKP remains on the right track in occupational safety and health practice.
