SERDANG, December 2024, 18th - Dr. Kong Lih Ling, research officer from the Laboratory of Sustainable Agronomy and Crop Protection, Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP) was awarded a research grant from Universiti Putra Malaysia under the Young Putra Initiative Grant (GP-IPM) scheme in the amount of RM25,000.00

The title of the research project is “Small RNA as a Novel Crop Protection Strategy Against Fusarium Wilt of Banana through RNAi-Mediated Gene Silencing” and the project members are YBhg Prof. Dr. Wong Mui Yun dan Dr. Erneeza Mohd Hata.
