Institute of Plantation Studies UPM Organises EKSA Appreciation Programme 2026, Recognising Excellence Among IKP Staff

SERDANG, 22 June 2026 – The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Committee of the Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) successfully organised the EKSA Appreciation Programme 2026 to recognise and celebrate the commitment and dedication of its staff in fostering EKSA practices and maintaining a systematic, conducive, and productive work environment.

Held under the theme “Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem”, the programme reflects IKP’s continuous efforts to strengthen a culture of quality, excellence, and professionalism in the workplace. The recognition serves as a token of appreciation for staff members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment in ensuring that their workspaces and facilities consistently meet the highest EKSA standards.

The awards were based on the findings of the IKP EKSA Internal Audit, which was conducted on 10 June 2026. The audit involved a comprehensive assessment of workspaces, cleanliness, documentation, innovation, and compliance with EKSA criteria. To ensure a transparent and objective evaluation process, Puan Nor Hasni Zahari from the Faculty of Engineering, UPM, was invited to serve as the external auditor and evaluator.

EKSA practices go beyond maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. They play a significant role in enhancing productivity, improving service delivery, and promoting workplace safety. Effective implementation of EKSA also supports the development of a high-performance work culture that embraces continuous improvement and innovation.

The presentation of certificates and trophies was officiated by the institute’s management, honouring recipients who demonstrated exceptional performance in their respective categories.
