SERDANG, 6 August 2026 - Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), UPM has achieved a significant milestone as six of its researchers have been recognised among the top 5% of scientists worldwide in the Global Scientist Index 2025 (SciRank Global). The distinguished researchers are Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Khairunniza Bejo, Prof. Ir. Dr. Norhashila Hashim, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thinagaran Perumal, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Aimrun Wayayok, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Rafein Zakaria, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ganesan Vadamalai. These six award-winning researchers are members of the UDRP Smart Farming and UDRP Plantation Crops research groups, which operate under the Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), UPM.
