SERDANG, Mac 21^st - Dr. Fariz Adzmi, research officer from the Laboratory of Processing and Product Development, Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP) was awarded a research grant under the Malaysian Research University Network (MRUN) under MRUN Research Officer Grant Scheme (MROGS) 2024 with an amount of RM30,000.00.

The title of the research project is "Trihoderma Bio-Organic Fertilizer with Reduce Rate Chemical Fertilization to Improve Soil Fertility and Enhance Nutrient Uptake by Durian Crop". This project is in collaboration with researchers from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaya consisting of Dr. Halimatun Saadiah Hafid, Dr. Mohd Huzairi Mohd Zainudin dan Dr. Lau Su Ee.
