AgriSMART Lestari - Mushroom Farming Project

This project emphasizes the use of IoT technology and smart farming concepts to enhance the efficiency of mushroom cultivation as well as other agricultural crops. In the Smart Mushroom Farming system, the temperature and humidity of the mushroom house are automatically monitored to ensure optimal conditions for growth and higher-quality yields. In addition, the Smart Greenhouse is equipped with sensors for temperature, air humidity, and light intensity. This data is used to automatically control ventilation, irrigation, and grow lights, thereby reducing dependence on manual labor. Furthermore, the project also includes Remote Crop and Soil Monitoring through the installation of IoT sensors, enabling real-time monitoring from different locations. Overall, this system not only improves productivity and crop quality but also supports sustainable agriculture through more efficient resource utilization and a community-friendly approach.

The first oyster mushroom cultivation project at IKP was implemented on 14 April 2026, involving 200 mushroom blocks, with the first harvest taking place on 21 April 2026 and producing an estimated wet yield of approximately 25 kg.
