The organizing committee for the 3rd International Conference on Plantation Technology (ICPTech2025) invites researchers from academia and industries to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and discuss the latest advancements in the field of resilient and sustainable industrial crop production.

Abstract submission guidelines

Seize this exciting opportunity to showcase your work at the ICPTech2025 conference! We are now accepting abstracts, so be sure to check the guidelines below for submission details.

  1. Abstracts must be submitted via email to icptech@upm.edu.my by 31st July 2025.
  2. Abstracts must be written and presented in clear English and must not exceed one (1) A4 page.
  3. Kindly refer to the template of the abstract.
  4. Please note that the ICPTech2025 Organizing Committee takes no responsibility for errors in either title, authors, or affiliation information. Please ensure that all author information is correct upon submission.
  5. Although the authors have the option to indicate their preference on their presentation type between “Poster or Oral” presentations, the ICPTech2025 Secretariat and Scientific Committee, however, reserves the right to decide the final type of presentation for all abstracts after review.
  6. Acknowledgment of submission will be sent to the presenting author or corresponding author. Please contact the secretariat if the e-mail confirmation has not been received.
  7. Submission of an abstract indicates the presenting author and co-authors’ consent to its publication in the official abstract book, conference website, programs, etc.
  8. The authors are allowed to make a modification until the abstract submission deadline on 31st July 2025.
  9. The presenting authors of the accepted abstracts must register for the conference, pay the registration fee in full by the registration deadline on 31st July 2025, and present the abstracts during the conference.
  10. Authors who want to withdraw an abstract should send a written request to the secretariat at icptech@upm.edu.my. Abstract withdrawal is deemed complete upon the confirmation of the secretariat.

 

Oral presentation guidelines

Oral presentations are for presenting completed research work. Authors will verbally present summaries or overviews of their work, describing the essential features.

  1. Oral presentations should be limited to 15 minutes each including three minutes of Q&A's with the audience.
  2. Presentation materials must be prepared in the powerpoint or pdf format.

 

Poster guidelines

  1. A regular poster must fit into A1 size and is well designed
  2. The poster will have a title, name, affiliation, contact information of the presenter besides introduction, methodologies, results and discussions, and conclusion section.
  3. A limited number of graphic illustrations such as figures, concise tables, diagrams, photographs, and maps may be added and should be clearly labelled with a brief caption.
