SERDANG, July 17^th  – Delegates from China Education Online in collaboration with several universities across China visited Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on the 17^th July 2024 consisting of President of the Malaysia-China Education Association, Director and Deputy Director of China Education Online International Education Center, Vice President of Guangdong Polytechnic of Technology, Dean and Professor of Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies of Guangdong Polytechnic of Technology, Dean and Professor of the College of Literature and Media at Guangdong Polytechnic of Technology, Party Secretary and Associate Research Fellow of the School of International Education at Guangdong Polytechnic of Technology, Project Manager of the International Affairs Office at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), Deputy Director and staff member of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office at Northeast Agricultural University, Dean and staff member  of the School of International Education at Nanjing University of Finance & Economics.

Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP) participated in the half-day China-Malaysia Higher Education International Cooperation Symposium where the director IKP introduced IKP and shared the research findings as a discussion session to establish closer ties with Chinese Institutions. An immediate impact of the visit sees both parties (IKP and Chinese Institutions) agreeing to the collaborative plans on two-way student exchanges, study tours, educational exhibitions, and academic seminars.
