October, 17- The Deputy Director of Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Wong Mui Yun, FASc, was conferred a fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), 2023 in Biological, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences discipline at M Resort & Hotel, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang.

The top management and staff of IKP expressed their warmest congratulations to Prof. Wong Mui Yun on this conferment. It is hoped that the conferment will give more opportunities for Prof. Wong Mui Yun to contribute her expertise in the development of sustainable plantation industry in Malaysia.
