On the 3rd of May 2016, the Putra Plantation Forum Series 2 was held at the Agriculture Hall, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The special guest speaker of the occasion, Yang Berbahagia Datuk Dr. Akbar Md Said the Director General of the Malaysian Rubber Board presented a paper entitled “Transforming the Malaysian Rubber Industry”. Yang Berbahagia Datuk talked about the Malaysian Rubber industry in general to the audience. In addition, he elaborated on the problems faced by the industry, the downstream activities that enhanced the income generated from the industry and about rubber city. Participants (107) from various outside agencies (44 participants) and UPM (63 participants) attended the forum.
