In early 2023, two staff of the Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), namely Mr. Wan Mohd Radzi Wan Ismail (Senior Assistant Registrar) and Mr. Izamri Md. Nor (Administrative Assistant-Clerical/Operation) have been transferred to the new PTJ at the Centre for Management of Waqf, Zakat & Endowment (WAZAN) and the Sultan Abdul Samad Library, respectively. The whole members of IKP would like to express their gratitude to them and appreciate their excellent services and contributions to IKP.

As a replacement for them, IKP also welcomed the new UPM staff to IKP, namely Mrs. Haliena Azhar (Senior Assistant Registrar) and Mr. Hanafiah Ismail (Administrative Assistant-Clerical/Operation). Mrs. Haliena started her service on 16^th January 2023, meanwhile Mr. Hanafiah on 20^th March 2023. IKP has also received a new Assistant Science Officer, Mr. Hishamuddin Hashim who started his service on 3^rd April 2023. All IKP staff would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of them. Hopefully, by having new staff members, IKP would continue to strive for excellence in services.
