February 24, 2022 – The head of the laboratory of Plantation System Technology and Mechanization (PSTM), Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazmi Mat Nawi was invited to handle a workshop on ‘How to review manuscript” by Malaysian Cocoa Board (MCB). This two-day workshop was held from 23 to 24 February 2022 in Seminar Room, Cocoa Innovation and Technology Centre, Malaysian Cocoa Board, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The workshop was officially officiated by the director general of MCB, YBhgia Dr. Ramle Hj. Kasin. A total of 20 research officers (ROs) of MCB attended the workshop. The purposes of the workshop were to train the research officers how to effectively review scientific manuscripts and provide constructive comments to authors. The participants of the workshop are expected to apply the knowledge in reviewing manuscripts which are submitted to Malaysian Cocoa Journal (MCJ) to increase the quality and the prestigious of the journal.
