SHAH ALAM, May 17th-19th - Ag Tech International Expo 2024 was held at Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC),  Shah Alam and the Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia is a strategic partner for this year’s expo. The opening ceremony was held on 17th May 2024 and was attended by the Director of IKP, Prof. Assoc. Ts. Dr. Khairunniza Bejo and the expo was officiated by YB. Lau Weng San, Speaker of the Selangor State Assembly.   A seminar session that involved most of the UPM experts was held in the Hall 3 where IKP researchers also shared their knowledge and expertise with industry players in the fields of agriculture, and plantation. Among the IKP researchers involved are Prof. Assoc. Ts. Dr. Siti Khairunniza Bejo (Director, of IKP), Dr. Anas Mohd Mustafah (Head, Mechanization, Automation and Digitization Laboratory), and IKP’s researchers, Prof. Dr. Wan Zuha Wan Hasan, Dr. Muhammad Razif Mahadi and Puan Siti Nooradzah Adam, all from the Laboratory of Mechanization, Automation and Digitalization, IKP.   The exhibition session under the UPM booth was enlivened with the participation of eDU-PARK, the Institute of Tropical Agriculture & Food Security (ITAFoS), Faculty of Food Science and Technology, International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (I-AQUAS), Putra Agriculture Centre and the University Veterinary Hospital, UPM.   IKP as the UPM coordinator for the Ag Tech International Expo 2024 would like to thank the committee members, speakers and exhibitors for their commitment and cooperation throughout the event.
