December, 14^th- Institute of Plantation Studies UPM is honoured to receive the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ganesan Vadamalai as the new Head, Laboratory of Sustainable Agronomy and Crop Protection (SACP). Appointment is effective on 15^th December 2022 until 14^th December 2023. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ganesan Vadamalai is affiliated to Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, UPM.  He is a PhD holder from The University of Adelaide, Australia He was also one of the IKP research associates.  He had an administrative working experience as the Head of Department in the Faculty of Agriculture and his research area is in plant pathology specifically virus and phytoplasma.

IKP would also like to express an appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nolila Mohd Nawi for her efforts and contributions as the former Head of the Laboratory of SACP, IKP from 1st December 2021 until 30^th November 2022.
