20 Oct – The head, Laboratory of Plantation Systems and Mechanization Technology (PSTM), Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), Associate Professor Dr. Nazmi Mat Nawi was invited as a visiting lecturer to the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia for a month starting from 11 October to 06 November 2023. In this program, Dr. Nazmi is responsible for teaching six topics related to the subjects of Mechanization for Plantation Crops to undergraduate students as well as assessing the student learning outcomes and course materials.

In addition to teaching, he was also appointed as a guest lecturer for a seminar related to instrumentation for agriculture. Dr. Nazmi was also responsible for exploring new research areas which can be conducted in collaboration with lecturers from Universitas Brawijaya. This program also requires Dr. Nazmi to publish two papers in collaboration with his host supervisor, Dr. Dimas Firmanda Al Riza. In the end  of the program, there were a few research areas were identified for future collaboration.
