Two days Journal Writing Workshop 2017 was organized by Institute of Plantation Studies on 11-12 April 2017. The workshop was attended by 20 participants among lecturers, researchers and postgraduate students. The objective of the workshop was to provide an opportunity for participants to obtain tips on how to publish a quality and high-impact journal paper; for improvement the quality and productivity of journals produced in IKP. The workshop was started with a welcoming speech by the Director of IKP. An enlighten presentation by the invited speaker, Dr. Leslie Low from MPOB with title “Experiences in Publishing in International Indexed Journals” and continued with journal writing in the afternoon section. The second day of the workshop started with a presentation from Mrs. Haryati Shila Muhammad Wali from Proof Readers United. This workshop will be able to produce the expected publications in the year.
