Sept., 4- Associate Prof. Dr. Noor Baity Saidi (associate researcher, Sustainable Agronomy and Crop Protection Laboratory (SACP)) and Gs. Dr. Nik Norasma Che' Ya (associate researcher-interim, Plantation Systems and Mechanization Technology Laboratory) from the Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP) were awarded a research grant under “University Consortium (UC) Young Researcher Grant” with the amount of USD5,000.00 each.

UC grant provides start-up funding for young researchers to pursue projects related to the UC strategic priorities, including food and agricultural policy, biotechnology in agriculture and information and communication technology, bioinformatics, and data management in agriculture.
