January 16, 2022 - A total of four researchers from Laboratory of Plantation System Technology and Mechanization (PSTM), Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazmi Mat Nawi visited the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBIG), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) for research collaboration and benchmarking. An introduction briefing related to the facilities and research programs in AIBIG was delivered by the Director of AIBIG, Dr. Muhammad Akmal Remli. This visit also discussed the ideas and concepts of applying artificial intelligence and big data into Malaysian agricultural industry, as a benchmark to develop well-structured PSTM research programs.
